What You'll Do:

  • Implementing business continuity program requirements, policies, and framework
  • Supporting the Chief Security Officer (CSO) in the planning and management of business interruptions
  • Developing, testing, and maintaining recovery strategy and plans
  • Working with the CSO to maintain program related tools
  • Conducting business impact analysis reviews and recovery gap analysis with business and support lines to understand, consolidate, and document mission critical recovery requirements (such as critical business processes, acceptable recovery time periods, emergency and critical staff requirements, as well as critical resources)
  • Documenting business continuity plans in partnership with business continuity sponsors and coordinators
  • Maintaining a crisis management plan and related walled cards, including incident escalation team
  • Partnering with IT and facilities teams to support recovery solutions and work area implementations (including resulting change management activities) to ensure the recovery site is maintained and up to date with the business recovery strategy
  • Preparing risk analysis for functional areas to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure, as well as identifying disaster avoidance and risk mitigation strategies
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of BCM related tools, including: BCM Intranet website, Emergency Notification Tool, BCM database, and BC related reports
  • Assisting the Head of BC/CM with an operational resilience project as it relates to BC & CM activities
  • Providing business continuity expertise to departments in the firm: Third-parties management, Business lines, IT and Risk departments amongst others

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience, focusing on business continuity planning and the ability to support process improvement initiatives
  • Incident and crisis management experience- a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Project management experience- a plus
  • Candidate will have the ability to participate in working groups at all levels
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
  • Use data analysis to drive valuable risk insights or identify existing and emerging risks
  • Support team governance standards and identify opportunities to enhance or streamline processes
  • Ability to establish a productive relationship with business stakeholders to promote strong operational resiliency
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Capacity to navigate in a multi-cultural and multi-dimensional environment
  • Ability to collaborate with others at all levels
